How we practice

Both clinics hold AAHA accreditation, which around 15% of practices in the US and Canada do. It is voluntary: an outside evaluator assesses the practice against roughly 900 standards covering anesthesia, pain management, surgery and record-keeping, and re-evaluates on a cycle.

Both clinics are enrolled in Fear Free Veterinary Practice Certification and are working through the standards. Neither is certified yet.
